I don't want to hear that I shouldn't be doing it please but I'd like some advice about how you do it safely. Like, Alasdair is crawling in his grobag now so sometimes I'll wake up and he'll be shuffling around the bed lol. I don't want him to fall out! I feel like I need to get a kingsize bed cot!

all around the bed? (i didn't even know that was possible!)

Dunno about bed guards cos I'm looking at getting one now for overnight stays and stuff and it says on them to leave a gap of one foot at the top and bottom "in case of strangulation." I'm thinking it must be in case the baby tries to escape through the gap and if the gap was too small they would get their head/ neck stuck......? But on the other hand a foot seems like a big enough gap for a baby to escape through.

No ideas about the original q though.

We found that the best thing to do was to teach Kaya how to get off the bed safely (and put lots of pillows around the bed lol).
