Well when I started my first (and thus far only) round of clomid I had a scan to see how many follicals and the lining it was $288 now blood work, thanks to my work and having a wellness center right here is only $3!!!
I will say to talk to ur doc bc sometimes they will give u some options. When doing an HSG test it was cheaper to pay in advance & pay in cash so they have routes. Also my FS is so nice he doesn't call it infertility so that the insurance will pay some however there is no way around IUI or IVF.
I would definitely sit down with ur doc & ask them more about the cost they will direct u where to go or give u more information. It does add up and I'm not going to lie about it not being expensive but I'm sure that it will depend where u live.
hi the initial consultation at the clinic im using includes a transvaginal scan and that costs £180 it depends what scan your after, a hsg test at my clinic is £350 and the bloods around £300, cant you get your bloods done through your gp ?
Thank you for the replies.
I have had bloods taken with my GP but they didn't show anything because I didn't know where I was in my cycle. I have long and crazy cycles
i would go back to your gp if theres a possibility of a problem they should be doing bloods every month over a few months to establish a possible cause
Im a private patient with me clinic, but all the investigations ive had and blood tests up to now have been on the NHS (well i assume so cos ive never been charged). Im starting my first round of clomid next cycle. I get 3 cycles with blood tests and a scan and im paying £365.00
