Cotbed, swinging cot or moses basket?

We used a moses basket for the first three months (and she was a very long baby). It was great, as we could get her settled in it downstairs in the evening when she was feeding a lot, and then when she was asleep we could just carry it upstairs without waking her and put it on the stand. She transferred fine into a cot when she outgrew it at about 3 months. We have a large room, so we had the cot in our room until she was 7 months. Am hoping to do the same with this one.

I have all three...Moses basket for downstairs in the day...swinging crib in our bedroom for first 4 months then into the cotbed after that x

We're just getting a cot. We are limited on space too, but have enough room to fit a cot by our bed for the early days then off to his / her own room later on. Our flat is on one level so no problems with carrying a sleeping bub up & down stairs!
