can a cough effect your baby, I'm 10 weeks and I've had this cough for 3 weeks now, all last week it was hurting my ribs and i had a pain in my ovary when I cough, I don't have no pain now when coughing but its so annoying

Colds and the like won't affect baby. They really suck though. Right now I'm going through a pack of fishermen's friends every couple of days. I'm going to try a salt water gargle tonight.
