Hi everyone,
This is my second pregnancy and I have been having some horrible morning sickness with this pregnancy. I have noticed that everytime after I throw up or even gag, I start coughing up phelm (sry if tmi) for what seems like an hour or so. I just keep coughing and it is really annoying. I didn't have that with my first pregnancy.
I did have the coughing issue in the past (after eating certain food) and I had an endoscopy done and they told me it was GERD (acid reflux). I was put on nexium and Losec Mups, but this was more than 5 years ago and I have gone off those pills for a long long time already.
Have anyone experienced the same? Is this normal?
What are pregnancy safe things I can do to reduce this? I already try to sleep with my head elevated, anything else I can do or take?
