Could I be prego?

My oh and I rarely dtd anymore mostly out of fear of getting pregnant. I am on the combined pill and was due to start my new pack on Sunday night. I completely forgot and ended up taking it on Monday morn. Stupidly I then forgot to take my Monday night pill until Tuesday morn! I did take my tuesday night one on time but because i was late taking two in a row is it possible for me to get pregnant? Literally cant sleep for worrying?

I'd say you're ok. Obviously nothing is 100% but I know with my pill I could take it 12 hours late and still be covered. That's a pretty big window.

Hopefully. I really hope not. As much as babies are a blessing I really couldnt cope with a young toddler and baby. I barely cope atm with just the one!

Lol yeah I struggle and my toddler is 3! I'm pretty sure you'll be fine hun but if you're really worried you could get the morning after pill? Bear in mind though that may interfere with your contraceptive pill so use condoms for the next 7 days xx

I highly recommend the contraceptive injection. I kept forgetting to take the pill and I'm also petrified of getting pregnant. One quick jab every 3 months and no periods!

I have already asked to be steralised but they thought I was joking....I was not joking! But because I am 27 I MAY change my mind according to the doctors.

I am definitely want something more permanent than the pill....stitch me up lol.

Oh really I didn't realise the morning after pill could interfere! Don't worry, no more sex for me for a while!

How about the coil? I've had one fitted as I'm done but if I change my mind (I won't!) I'll be fertile immediately after removal x

I am going on the implant. I also don't think I will ever change my mind but it lasts for 3 years which is perfect for me just no. I have to finish my pill packet then get the implant put in.

Not to scare you but I fell preg with my first after missing 1 and taking the following one late whilst on the combined pill. although the chances are small could you perhaps talk to the doc and see if they recommend the morning after pill? Just if you are 100% certain you dont want another baby it best to cover all bases

I don't think they'd sterilise you with only 1 child. It was a few years ago now but my sister was told she had to be 30 and have 3 kids if younger.

My OH wont get the snip but then he wants another one so definitely wouldn't agree to it.

I didn't think they would steralise me but I thought I would ask. I am terrified now and will be until I know for definite that I am not pregnant.

Well I guess I'll be waiting it out with you bc I forgot to take my pill 2 nights in a row but took them the next morning both times. I want to switch birth control.

Sad thing is it was right at the start of mine so I have the whole pack to go through to see if I am pregnant. Boo!

My doctor doesn't think it will be an issue and has booked me in to get the implant done in a few weeks. She did tell me that two women last week came in for their postnatal check at 6 weeks pp and discovered they were both pregnant. Ouch!

Wishing you the best!!! Seeing as it's at the end/start of the pack I really don't think it's THAT big of a chance, since it would be shortly after you had your period, correct?

morning after pill most effective in the first 24hrs....so i can only assume your all good. Hope it all turns out ok.

Just an update.....got my period! hope that means i am def not pregnant!
