Could my due date been wrong?

I am having a sudden panic/ fears for my unborn baby.

My lmp was the 14th Mar, we dtd 4th April, at the first scan they dated it a little later, so my due date was 28th December. Which didn't make sense at all, but my cycles were normally 32 days and as we had a previous miscarriage... I just went along with the dates.

I am now overdue by 8 days and I have read after 42 weeks, the risk to the baby is higher, etc.

What if my dates were wrong all along and I could be over two weeks overdue?? How correct are the scan dates ? As I said we dtd on the 4th April, I really don't understand how they work out the dates.

scan dates are more reliable than anything else hun thats why we have the dating scans so the computer can measure and work out exactly size and gestational age of baby im sure you have nothing to worry about if your really concerned maybe ask your midwife ?
