Could this be the start of teething?

I posted in the FF forum as I was asking about the problems LO has suddenly started having with feeding, however, having had a quick scout around, I'm now wondering if it could be symptoms of the start of teething (which I wasn't really expecting for a while yet!)

For the past few days LO has been struggling with his bottles. He can fuss about with them and it looks like he can't get the teat in his mouth properly to suck and it will keep popping out whilst he is screaming blue murder at the same time. Eventually he will drink properly but if he has a break it's the same trouble again and I know he's still hungry and not popping the teat out like he's had enough. He is also falling asleep after every feed which he never did before.

I've also noticed that he is sucking/chewing on his fingers which he never used to do I even heard him do it in his sleep throughout the night.

So does this sound like it could be early teething? I've also read that the symptoms can last a while before their tooth actually cuts through? Also if this is the case, what are the best things to relieve it?

Yup, Alex is doing the exact same stuff and he's just one day older than your LO! He's BF but thrashes about just the same. Go to Boots and ask for baby bonjella on the Direct Care plan  Also, try a teething ring you put in the fridge for him to chew on.

ashton and parsons powders work wonder for my girl also incourage him with hard toys to chew on
