How do you know if you have bedbugs? I'm scared to google it incase it freaks me out :haha: I'm sure someone told me that when they bite, they bite in the same area? well, I have 3 bites on my chest, 10 on my hip and 12 on my leg :( The itch is driving me insane!!!
Could it be bedbugs?? and if so, how do we get rid of them??:sick:

I think you'd be able to see them? X

My husband had them in his last room. They bit me on the palm and the itch was unreal. I saw one sitting on the pillow when we got back so I knew. You can check the cracks in the mattress and places like that for them or their dust.

You have to hire a company that specializes in them to get rid of them as they are very hard to kill.

I lived in a house with bed bugs. They are big enough to see but you probably wouldn't notice them unless you were deliberately looking out for them. You need to get in a fumigator person to get rid of them unfortunately. If you call a company (or the council) they can send someone to put down some sticky traps around the bed to catch some and confirm that that is what it is, then they can advise on getting rid of them from there.

Most pest removal specialists won't even come out to see your house unless you have proof of them, which is the problem. I thought I had them a few months ago and never found them. You really have to look for the signs (poop, red stains on sheets, shells). These are very easy to spot, the bugs are very hard to find. They are visible to the naked eye - the size of an apple seed, but paper thin. They can get into cracks and you'll never find them.

So, when I thought I had them, I freaked out. I turned our apartment into a war zone - I found nothing. After awhile of constant itchy red bumps, I went to a doctor and it turned out I had folliculitis. It looks very similar to bed bug bites. Don't waste tons of money on removal services if you can't find proof. Go to a doc first and have them test it for an infection.

Yes! Red, lumpy and itchy!

I washed bedding on 90 degree wash and gutted whole room, hoover it top to bottom and hoovered bed every small gap 5 times over in 1 day.

I never once seen them though they did go after this.

The one I saw was pretty big. It must have been around awhile. I have also seen a baby and it was almost see through with bits of brownish red around the edges. We came back to a dark room and hadn't turned the light on yet, so that may be why it was still out on the pillow (looking for my palm).
