Hi ladies and gents, i have a transfer inspection tomorrow, im just wondering what happens at this? we accidently put a whole in the door moving a sofa, we patched it up with wood and glossed it do you think they may refuse us because of this? The rest of the house is fine its just this little hiccup im worried about

I had a HA person over the other day, discussing something different but exchange inspection came up. It was pretty much if the new prospective tenant was happy then they were ok. of course it can change depending on area, but you have fixed it so it shouldnt be a major problem x x x

I don't think it will be a problem if you have fixed it. At worst they may say you need to replace the door but they won't turn down you transferring because of it

sometimes they will let alot of things slide if it is easily and cheaply replacable.

as you have repaired and as long as its not majorly noticable i think they won't bother about it.
