Couple on this morning spend 100K for a baby

I was crying when I was watching this. It was this couple who'd been trying to conceive since 1985. They had 10 attempts at IUI, a failed adoption and 7 IVFs and and an ICSI.

On their 18th attempt she fell pregnant with twin boys and she found out on their 24th wedding anniversary. At this point I was !

She said once they were born the midwife asked her for the babies to clean them up and dress them and she said, 'Ive waited 24 years, I want to do it!'
All I can say is I'm glad I was on my own as I was pathetically blubbing by this point as THIS MORNING for heavens sake!!

I was so happy for them but scared something like that could happen to us! Although things have come along a lot more since the 80s. As Mrs. G would say though, they didnt stop believing in their dream and they were blessed with not one, but two!

Yes I saw this on the news a couple of days ago! Amazing story.

This couple must have nerves of absolute steel to go for so long without crumbling under the financial and emotional pressure.

I do hope the rest of us don't have to go through such a hard road as this, but it does go to show the amazing resilience and determination of the human condition. I'm sure those two little boys will have the most amazing upbringing!
