cow and gate advice needed

Hiya, hope this makes sense

Got a very hungry little baby on my hands lol,

She is currently drinking 4oz at a time but i think she is still hungry ! Im wondering if i can up her to 5oz. Has anyone done this with cow and gate the only reason i ask is cause on the instructions it says about giving them 4oz then 6oz lol.

She is still only 5 weeks old aswell ! just not sure if i can give her 5 cause of the instructions lol

i always increased my babies' milk by 1 oz a time... no point in making more than needed.xx

You certainly can It's 1 scoop of formula per 1oz of water. The "instructions" on the side of the box are only a guide, not hard and fast rules They've never worked for my baby in terms of what the box says she should be taking, whether I go by her weight or her age

If she is fully draining the bottle then up her feed by 1oz and see how she gets on, i followed Sienna's lead with amounts and not the tin as all babies are different. And dont worry as you cant overfeed a little bubba, whatever she doesnt need will soon come back out LOL x

Agree with what the other girls have said too! Joe has always taken more than it says on the cow & gate box x

hollie has alwaysbeen on more milk than the box says... at 4 weeks she was havin 150ml. now at 8 weeks she has 180ml. i found its just trial and error with how much LO needs. i have been at a point where i have made 3 bottles up one after another as she wasnt satisfied.

oyu dont have to take any notice of what the box says so dont worry my little one was 13 oz at 6 wks old and it doesn say anythign about that on the box

Take no notice of the guide on the box hun. if you think she needs 5oz then up the amount. I did this when connah was that age

My LO was drinking 5oz's per bottle at 2 weeks old x
