cow and gate comfort or hipp organic?

My LO is on aptamil atm but suffers from terrible wind and constipation. I'm def going to change but not sure which to change to, hipp organic or cow and gate comfort? Anyone had any experiences with either regarding colic and constipation. Not sure which to go for :/

Even though I have heard really great things about Hipp, I would probably go striaght for comfort milk. Its specially made to treat both the symptoms your baby is suffering with and you should hopefully see a fast improvement. xx

Just to be a pain I'll say the opposite of the above poster! I worked with a baby with awful constipation and was a nightmare to wind on SMA milk, we switched first to Cow & Gate which didn't make any difference, but the online shopping sent Hipp Organic as a substitution once and we ended up changing to that. It worked perfectly, he started pooing every 4 days instead of 7 and was much more settled and easy to wind. But each baby is different so it's hard to tell which will work for your baby

We've used hipp with both babies and they had no problems on it, my youngest has always been great at getting his burps out lol, no trapped wind or anything xx

used both and stuck to Hipp Organic Combiotic! it really made a difference to my son (ebf til 3 months, then combifed til 6 months) and my daughter too, she was ebf til 6 months and then had the hipp and had no problems whatsoever!

Dd had similar issues but on cow and gate, so we switched to aptamil and she was so much better. Decided to start ds with aptamil and it's not been great for him. The powder doesn't mix like it used to, it gets caught in the teats and hes really struggled. This resulted in a day of screaming in pain and some massive blow outs overnight. We switched to hipp yesterday and he's eating better and with more ease though still a little unsettled from the blowouts.

Thanks everyone! I switched him to hipp organic yesterday and omg what a difference! Its helped so much with his gas, he barely cries and he did a poo finally! Yayy!

My ds is far happier after 2 days on hipp too. We actually get some awake time with him that doesn't involve him screaming and though he's still a little bothered by wind he's beginning to settle himself back to sleep. Was still up from 2-4am with him this morning, but its definitely been an improvement!
