Cow and Gate or Hipp organic

Hi my 13 week old daughter was breastfed for 8 weeks but due to a hospital stay and other issues shes now on cow and gate first milk as thats what they gave her in hospital so stuck with it but she seems to get very bunged up with it i have heard that hipp organic helps with this and also with wind i have very little experience with formula feeding as my son was breastfed until 10 months so looking for some advice as to wether its worth changing or not health visitor is a bit crap as she thinks i should have tried to stick with breastfeeding for longer as if i didnt feel bad enough about that as it is.

could you not try cow and gate comfort? My LO has switched between cow and gate 1 and cow and gate comfort with no problems.

i mentioned the comfort milk to paedatrician in hospital that cown and gate seemed to make her windy and bunged up but she said she didnt rate comfort milk at all and seemed to think it was much the same but with a higher price so assumed she would know what she was talking about maybe not though

Heya.

Its likely that your lo may be a bit constipated at first when switching form breast milk to formula whatever formula you used. I agree with above post though. If you think your lo is quite a windy baby then give comfort milk (a milk that is specifically designed to help with wind, colic and constipation) a try. BUT at the moment cow and gate and Aptamil comfort milks are both out if stock in the majority of places due to manufacturing supply issues. So if you did want to try a comfort milk then I would give SMA comfort a go. xxx
