Wondering if anyone can help - my niece is intolerant of cows milk and her dietician advised to also avoid soya products. It seems pretty easy to find cake recipes that fit this mould, but icing/frosting is a bit more troublesome. Buttercream is always popular in our family, but I've tried this with margarine before amd it just slid off the cake!! Would like to make a cake for my niece's first birthday that everyone can enjoy ( if it's vegetarian friendly too that would be ideal!!)
