My lo is 1 at the weekend and we have just finished a tub of formula so was going to do the switch to cows milk. Hv said to just do a straight switch. She's been having it in her cereals for ages now and some tastes in her doidy so I'm not concerned about that side of things, its just the storage of it really.
So if anyone could help I'd like to know:

Do you heat it for your lo? (dd has never been fussy on temp, sometimes warm, sometimes room temp and even cold in the summer)

And how long can lo have it for? (My dd is a real picker and takes ages with her bottles)

Also do you ever give your lo's cows milk at night? I'm still bfeeding at night but would like to drop a few feeds as she can be up 3-4 times which quite frankly is exhausting. So thinking daddy can do a few feeds now that I've done it soley for a year.

Thanks for reading and thank you very much for your help in advance :)

Oh I forgot to ask - when going out do you take the milk chilled and pop it into an insulated bottle bag then warm it when out?
This was the main reason for my original post but I forgot to ask this. Lol!
I'm thinking if the milk is warm when taking it out that it will start to grow bacteria - am I just worrying over nothing here?!? It just baffles me the thought of not having milk in the fridge!

Thanks again :)

I would treat it as you do formula and take it out cold but for no more than 2 hours and heat it as needed.
