Cramping but no period

I'm really frustrated. I'm in our first cycle of TTC..my cycles are usually 34 days long with the odd longer cycle about every 6 months or so...now cycle day 35, BFN yesterday and the day before. I have had terrible cramps on and off for a week, they got worse yesterday night and I had to take a painkiller, and I was certain period is going to come, but nothing. Why would I be cramping if I'm not pregnant and why is my period not coming? I usually ovulate around CD 20 but we only managed to DTD CD 10, 11, 12, 16 and 24 this cycle and I had awful cramps CD 22 where I couldn't move, I think it could have been an ovarian cyst or something as I've had corpus luteum cysts before. Should I just wait for my period to come?

Do you have or been checked for endometriosis?

You describe some of symptoms.

I've had an ultrasound where I asked the doctor if I have endometriosis and he said no and that everything looks perfectly normal.

With my last pregnancy, the first thing that tipped me off on being pregnant was bizarre awful cramps.

Could be pcos. I have it and I experience those symptoms sometimes
