Cramps neg OPK cd13

I've been testing opks since cd3 af was only 2 days this cycle the rest was spotting (yes that is unusual for me)
Now I am at cd 13 and I'm having minor cramps. But my opk is negative. Its actually pretty dark but not quite there, I'll try to attach a pic. This is my second cycle using opks and first temping, so I'm not sure if cramping during O is usual for me or not maybe I've just never paid attention before. Ill test again in a few hours and update.
Meanwhile, have you ladies experienced this? Does anything ring a bell?

I experience O pains a few days before I actually ovulate. It is sort of a pinching pain. Usually around that time my LH will start building enough to show on an opk. The rest of the month it is stark white negative. I'd say you would be pretty close to Oing if your opk is that dark and should get to BDing right away. You're technically in your "fertile" period a few days before O because you can still get pregnant if you had unprotected sex within a few days before you actually O since sperm lasts up to 5 days inside a woman.
