Alright so here's some background. I found out I was pregnant in July we weren't actively trying to conceive, a week later I miscarried. We decided to go ahead and try. I got my period a month later and that's when I began tracking my cycle. I'm now in my 3rd cycle. And Ive been calculating a 35-37 day cycle. Well I'm now in day 42 still no AF! I've basically missed my entire period. But I've had cramps for at least 5 days. Mainly on my right side( I only ever feel them on my right) I keep thinking I started. But still nothing! I took a first response 3 days ago BFN. could I still be pregnant? Has anyone else experienced this? What else could it be?

Hi Bella, I'm at a little bit of a loss as to know know to say but didn't want to read and run. It sounds like your cycles are very much up and down, saying that you do seem to be late for AF. If it were me i'd try another test in a few days, everybody is different and it take a while for your hCG to rise so maybe it isn't high enough yet to be detected. I don't want to scare you but this happened to me this August, I was late with AF but test said bfn tried again 4 days later and BFP, sadly though I mc in sept and although I had a scan the very day I lost it (there was a heartbeat as well), baby was nowhere near as developed as it should have been. I believe my hCG levels at the beginning rising really slow and not showing a positive test when it should have done was a sign things weren't right from the beginning.

Only other reason I can think of is that maybe your hormones are out of whack... mine were after my last mmc in July... and that could cause your cycles to be irregular for a while. I'm on my fourth cycle since July and still haven't become pregnant yet despite ttc since then because my messed up hormones have stopped me from ovulating completely. With my past two mcs I ovulated much later in my cycle afterwards so it could be possible your hormones could have caused you to ovulate irregularly in which case it would be difficult to tell how far along you are if you are pregnant. If you ovulated late, a positive on a test would show up much later. I ovulated on CD 23 of a 27 day cycle and didn't get a positive until well after AF was due. It was infuriating.
Thank you for your comments! Im not sure what's going on if my hormones are playing tricks on me or not. However I did take an ovulation test during my fertility window and it came back almost positive. Then the next day not as dark as before! My cycles haven't seemed to be irregular. Maybe only one or two days off. I've had tons of cm but still haven't started 9 days late! I'm hoping for a bfp! I can't remember all my symptoms the first time because I wasn't trying to get pregnant besides I could smell everything! Still hasn't happened this cycle though. But achy breasts and also so many veins are apparent to me now. So hoping!

I had a cycle that I got a positive OPK for two days at CD 10 and CD11 then never had an elevation in my temps and so ended up ovulating on cD 21. It was a total fluke cycle and about three months after my early miscarriage. The cycle ended up being 35 days although mine are typically 28-30. Do you temp?
Thank you for your comment Ltweety! And no I don't temp . I don't want to stress myself out too much and see if I can hopefully get pregnant without going crazy. I was thinking if I don't get pregnant the next few cycles I'll start to temp but I don't even know where to begin! I only took opks 2 times around the time I thought I'd be ovulating. So I'm guessing I did ovulate around the 4th-12th of October. Now on cycle day 46. Not sure what to expect.

STILL NO AF 13 DAYS LATE !!I haven't tested since last week. I tried to make an appointment for a blood test but I have to go to a larger city to get that done
planning to test soon though !

Sorry for being mia! But to update still no A/F cycle day 54! I went for a blood test yesterday so I'm waiting on the results. But the doctor was extremely rude and said I should have got a bfp 5dpo! I've NEVER heard of someone getting anything that soon. Her only explanation was my ovaries didnt feel lIke working last month which makes no sense lol... so i had to insist on a blood test. never the less we still have hope. I should have the results by next week! Praying for my bfp!
