cramps = ovulation?

Ok so right side cramps last night at CD11 and something told me to check with clearblue and woohoo smiley face - now do the cramps mean the egg was released at that time and I managed to catch the surge at the exact time?

The other question I have is about sperm quality - if bf hasnt "come" for a week does it mean the sperm isnt great? Im sure I read that somewhere?

Sounds like you're ovulating!! Sperm can live up to 5 days if in the ideal environment.. which would be a LOT of ewcm.. but usually they live for about 3 days.

so if I ovulated at about 9pm last night would it be worth trying to get a BD sesh in before 9pm tonight as the egg only has 24 hours or would it be a waste as the swimmers have to get there in time

Definitely wouldn't be a waste!!! Get to BD'ing!! I really don't think you ovulated last night though because you would have had a temp rise today, sounds like you are ov'ing today or tomorrow xx

Your temp dipped down today though hun, and you most likely wouldn't be getting fertile cm after ov & your cp would be low and hard, not high anyways. Of course everyone is different but thats generally how it goes. Usually you get a temp dip the day you ovulate, but not always. Sometimes you get o pains before you ov as it' your body getting ready to pop the egg out.. if that makes any sense lol xx

temps are tricky this month - I think yesterdays was high due to drinking sat night hence discarding it.

Could be! Only time will tell I'd keep BDing though until you get a bigger temp rise since the two cycles you've temped you've ovulated on the last day of pos opks. Are they still pos today? xx

clearblue wasnt but IC was - Im tempted to go by clearblue

Clearblue tests are way less sensitive than ICs. Some women never get pos on the digis but get pos on ICs and still ovulate. Are you still getting fertile CM? xx

If you go a long time without , the sperm dies out and makes new. So essentially you should have dh expel a day or two before thats what my doc told us to do! Hope that helps!
