CRL at 6 weeks

Hi ladies I use to come here last year when I was pregnant my baby is now 9months old a boy and this forum has been very informative and all the ladies have been very helpful. Well I am back again cause I am 6 weeks pregnant with a CRL measuring 0.50cm has anyone had familiar? and i hope i will be welcomed here thankyou all by the way I am from the caribbean and medical technology down here is far lower than that of the US, Canada, British so sometimes I may have a lot of questions even if i rcently had a baby ty you girlys

excuse my ignorance..but what is CRL?

i think it's something to do with the length of the fetus but i will ask my doc next visit i guess i was too excited at the results to notice anything to ask but i am now going over the ultra sound pic and i saw it

CRL is the Crown-Rump length. Wikipedia says for 6 weeks it should be .4 cm which means you may be a pinch ahead of schedule. It's just a way of measuring to tell how far along the baby is.

Here's a good article about infant size and gestational age. If you scroll down a bit you can find the charts. It's a bit more detailed then wikipedia as it gives not only the average but the 5th and 95 percentiles too. It also has a chart for BPD which will be of use once you get into the second trimester.

At 5+6 mine was 2.3mm. Tiny and way smaller than anyone I know! I think my dates are a few days out though, all caught up now! congrats x x

crl is 4mm at 6 weeks hav a look at crl to in google. that will tell u. that wat i was gd luck :O) x

Congratulations!! When I had my 6 week scan the CRL was 4.4mm A week later it had doubled exactly to 8.8mm

My babies CRL was 1cm exactly at 7 +1
