After getting bad results yesterday, I'm off to the hospital to have an appointment with a fetal specialist, then have the cvs test. I'm so scared that something's going to go wrong and I'm going to cause a miscarriage when everything could of been fine. But unfortunately there is only one way to find out. My risks of something being seriously wrong are a lot higher than the risk of miscarriage, but that's still a 1 in 50 chance that I don't like. I just hope I'm doing the right thing :( xx

I'm really praying for you. I'm sure you are doing the right thing. The doctors are so good these days. They will be very careful with you x it's a very hard decision you have had to make and nobody can know what it's like unless they have been through it. I haven't and I can't imagine it. I really hope you get good news. Be brave today x

It's the hardest decision I've ever had to make. Knowing I could cause a miscarriage when everything's fine, but my odds off something being wrong are double that of miscarriage. I just don't know what I've done wrong to get high results. I've spent pretty much the last 24 hours in tears :( x

good luck today lexi - got all my fingers crossed for you xxxx

I will be thinking if you. (((massive hugs)))

GL with the test, nothing would go wrong..trust in God.., will be thinking about you :hugs:

Good luck 2day hun fingers crossd 4 u xx

Now back from the hospital. Fingers crossed all is ok x

I was in there about an hour. I went in and he talked me through my results. Then he done a scan. Then talked me through the procedure and what he was going to be doing. Actual procedure took about 10 mins, they give you a local anathestic to numb the skin, but obviously can't numb the womb. Hurt going in and felt like bad period cramps whilst he was doing the test and collecting samples. He then let me relax and done another scan. I don't feel to bad, just a bit achey and sore at the moment. I've seen a lot of women saying they're under 30 so they're not having the bloods done as not high risk. I am only 23 with no family history of any abnormalities. They've said I should get a call Wednesday/Thursday with my results. x

As much as the doctors say age has a lot to do with it, it doesn't exclude us. I'm 26 and have opted to be tested at my scan. I hope everything is ok for you!xox

Good luck at your scan. I was shocked st my results, I was expecting them to be low x

I hope and pray the results should be normal :hugs:
