Cycle after miscarriage

It is now over 3 weeks since my m/c. My hormones are driving me mad as I am getting AF symptoms all the time (sore breasts, bloating, etc). Is 3 weeks too early to expect her?

Also, my main concern is will the m/c affect my cycles now or will they go back to normal.

I am pretty regular.

Also, what was your first AF like after your loss (sorry if TMI or too painful to talk about).

I am getting impatient waiting for her!

I had a d&c on 11/02/07 and it took 5 and a half weeks for AF to return. I was always regular 35 days and my first cycle went right back to normal and I was able to conceive again. I hope that helps and I'm so sorry for your loss

It took 5 weeks for my cycle to return after my d&e. Just under 4 weeks after the bleeding stopped.

Before that pregnancy my cycles were all over the place but since then m/c my cycles have been perfect 27/28 day ones.

EDIT to ADD: My AF was actually pretty normal afterwards as well. Sure it was horrible for me cause it was the first one I'd had in some time. But it was a regular AF.

Firstly wanted to say thanks for your support...

As to the first period after MC, for me it is usually 4 weeks every time...

Can't wait for mine too...
It gives you a new hope and gives you something new to concentrate on and takes your mind of negative things ...

It is so good to talk to others going through similar experiences.

I guess AF will show her face sometime over the next few weeks (I hope so). It will be nice to get things 'back to normal' again.

Thank you for starting this thread, I've been wondering the same. Wasn't too sure if 1st AF would be worse or not.
I had my EPRC just over 4 weeks ago now and stopped bleeding 3 weeks ago I'm hoping AF starts soon so I can start trying again.

I was wondering the same thing.. i read online it could take anywhere from 4-8 weeks!! I hope it comes soon! It has been 2 weeks since my MC so I should be ovulating soon.. Heres to hoping all of our AF return normal and soon so that was try for our miracles again!!

hi rumpskin, mine was about 5 weeks after miscarriage kinda got a bit worried but now i am always regular as back on the pill again! there not heavy and dont last long but thats good! hope tings are ok keep in touch! hope you get back into a normal routine luvvy x
