I had a MC Nov 6th and I haven't ovulated since. Currently cd 16 so I technically still have a chance to this cycle but not feeling optimistic. I was wondering how a loss changed your cycle, especially ovulation. This is my 3rd cycle since and I'm debating whether this is 'normal' or not.

Well my cycle has changed a lot since my mc before my mc my cycles were 28 days and after my first cycle was 35 days my 2nd cycle was 34 days and this cycle was 30 days. I have been using OPKs and by those I am still ovulating

Thank you! I'm just looking for
As many ladies input as possible. Like I said I'm still holding out hope but want to be prepared if not.

I had a mc December 7. I bled for 8 days then got my period a little over two weeks later. Earlier than I expected. So I'm on my first cycle since the mc. I started doing the clear blue ovulation kit and got negatives until cycle day 16 where it showed peak ovulation. Usually I get a few days where it shows high ovulation before peak ovulation. I'm not sure if I ovulated or if it was wrong or what. I'm interested to see if my cycle lasts my normal 29 days. It's frustrating after a mc though bc you really have no idea what's going on with your body and what to expect.

It is frustrating! It's bad enough you've had a terrible loss but then you can't even try or figure out your own body. It's heartbreaking all over again.

I had a mc a few years ago and my post-mc cycles were quite short for me, I think about 21 days rather than my usual 28. This time around, I can't tell yet. But unfortunately, the first few months after a miscarriage, "everything is normal". There's no telling when ovulation will resume or your cycles get regular again.
Grapefruit juice might be something to try to help ovulation along. I drink it to increase ewcm but I've read it can bring ovulation forward. Won't hurt anyway.

Well my cycles were the normal 28 day cycles before I was pregnant. After my miscarriage it ranges anywhere from 27-34 days and it changes every month with an average of 30 days. It's been a year since my miscarriage and ttc and my last cycle was 34 days...

My cycles range between 24-32 days since the mc in July last year. I'm not sure about ovulation as I'm not tracking it.

My cycles always ranged between 27-31 days and after MC I am on Cd 20 and only just ovulated so a week later than normal. I have no idea why a MC changes it but it's a lot of trauma our body has been through and I guess we just have to accept its doing its job :) hope you ovulate soon! Xx

Thank you so much ladies. I really appreciate it! I think I ovulated yesterday. I'll know for sure in a couple days.

After my second loss my cycles took a few months to regulate and my bleeding was different. Very watery. Eventually things sorted themselves out and they will with you too :flower:
This time I am expecting strange cycles again for a while but I know that my body will sort to self out in a few months or so so I'm not going to worry. Our bodies are amazing and they can recover but it can just take some time.

I've had 3 miscarriages, my cycle went straight back to normal and I conceived again within 3 weeks after the first two, but the most recent one seems to have messed things up for me. It was later than the first two, a mmc and I had to have medical management and I think these are all reasons why my body is taking longer to recover. It took over 6 weeks to even get AF again, I'm now CD17 since the first AF and have not ovulated at all yet since the mc. There is still a chance I could ovulate this cycle as it's still early for me, I usually ovulate around CD21, but not feeling hopeful as I'm not really having any fertile signs and my temps seem quite erratic still. Not sure if that's due to hormones still or just my rubbish timing and bad sleep lately due to being woken by DD. Very frustrating when you don't even have a proper chance to try again.

Bubbles- sorry for your losses. Is this your first full period since your mc?

Yeah, my medical management was 22nd November, I didn't ovulate at all then had AF on the 13th of January. Should be ovulating around now but don't think it's going to happen again so going to be another long wait to see when AF decides to show up again I think

I'm sorry! I haven't ovulated since my mc on nov 6th. I'm hoping I do this month.

Hey!
I'm not sure I did last month. I don't think I did though. I'm hoping I do this month. I'm doing opks and temping. If I don't I have to follow up with my doctor.

How are you doing?

Sorry my internet is down.
Hope u catch this month hon xxx
I thought I was in luck last month.
Had shadow of a line and af was three days late.
But it arrived unfortunately
Not sure if it was maybe very early chemical
But we r gonna ttc again this month anyway
And cross our fingers
Hope ur keeping well hon x
