Cycle gone awry.. husband thinks i'm pregnant

Like i said my cycle went awry and because my period didnt arrive after the usual amount of time, my husband thinks im preg. I don't agree with hm.

I decided to take this month off from fully charting bbt because it has been leading me on the last couple cycles. But i still used OPKS and got a normal progression up to my positives and then a regression. I decided to take bbt every couple of days to make sure my temp rose and it did. Then my period didn't come, so i started taking hpts and opks each day again. I got super faint lines on hpt around the time i got another positive OPK so i figured maybe i hadn't o'ed the first time. Then my bbt never rose to confirm an ovulation. So here I am at cd 39 with no signs of anything. I have been taking an IC every morning with FMU and every morning they are negative.

Im using 10miu IC's. So what is more likely, that im having an annov cycle, or that im preg and its not showing on tests? Im leaning towards annov but i'm not sure.

If u got a lne on the hpt and I poitive opk I would say pregnant! A line is a line!

I would test again in a couple of days. A positive pregnancy test can show up on the opk, but not the other way around.

The best way I can explain it like this.... Say the luteinizing hormone (what the opk detects) looks like this "=$" and hcg (what the pregnancy test detects) looks like this "=&"... well the opk is always detecting the "=" part of the chemical, so if you are pregnant it will show up positive. Hpts detect the "&", so they would not show up positive for ovulation.

yes i know how that works, but i'm saying, the faint line on the hpt went back to negative, and so did my blazing positive opk, but my period still isn't here

i don't know i guess im a little frustrated lol. although it is pretty nice knowing i wont have to worry about af any time soon. if im not pregnant i think i will just let it go and give myself a break until my cycle decides to return

What's an IC? sorry - im having the same thing right now, FF said i o'd then when i put the temp in for the next day it takes it away.
