Hoping someone may be able to give me some advice. The last time I had a period was over 4 years ago. I fell pregnant with ds1 breastfed til a year fell pg with ds2 that same month and he is 2 months shy of turning 2. Since his birth I have had ewcm on and off coming every 2 weeks or so frustrating to say the least. I stopped bf him at the start of the year (though now and again he has a comfort feed if he is really upset). I had hoped my cycles would have returned by now as I've been wanting to ttc again since he was 6 months old.

Anyhow apart from Agnus Cactus can I take anything else to help my cycles return?

I suspect my doctor will be useless for advice. x

Have you a history of long cycles?
Tbh I think I'd see my gp and ask for a referral.

I am currently on cycle day 86  and I have been doing a castor oil pack 3 days on 3 days off for about two weeks and I'm starting to feel like :witch:May finally come plus iv Ben also taking vitex and dong qui....and drinking red raspberry leaf tea but I think that the castor oil is helping to bring AF for me.

Yes my cycles have never been regular before having children I could go months without having one before having my so s they would be between 40-50 days long.

Had hormone tests done a few years back which came back normal. I know 6 months ago my lh and fsh levels were low but doctor said it was down to me breastfeeding.

Doctor prob won't refer me as I'm having ongoing battles at the moment with other health issues so I doubt she will take me seriously :( x

Hope that af shows up soon for you hun. I'm going to stock up on vitex and give that a go first and see how I go. X

I would definitely go see your gynae, I think they will help you right away seeing as you have not had a new cycle in years!!! Good Luck

Hi I don't have a gynae though I wish I had. I have to go through my doctor to get a referral and that won't happen until I have got my health in order first. x

Are you speaking of weight when you say getting your health in order? I ask this because I know a solution if so. Look up Paleo/caveman diet... its not a diet, more a lifestyle change... This will help you drop weight, without trying and bring your cycles back to normal!

Hi no its not my weight wish it was something as simple as that. I'm aneamic with deficiencies in iron, folic and b12. The iron and folic are now under control and levels continue to rise. The b12 is what I am having issues with as my doctor refuses to take my symptoms seriously and will not diganose me as b12 deficent (levels were under the normal range and are now just over the lower end of the normal range). x

so would taking a b12 supplement work to bring it to a good level?
