Cycles got long once I started TTC

My cycles were relatively regular - all around 31 days - for the first 8 months or so I was married. I had 2 cycles that ran longer, which were separated from each other by normal 31ish day cycles.

Then we started trying to conceive in mid January. All of a sudden, my cycles are taking a gazillion years (well, it feels that way!). I'm only on my third cycle since then. I have gone from 31ish day cycles, to 41-50 (and counting). My two week waits have become four week waits. BFNs every couple of days with each cycle. And it's happened three times in a row (today is CD50).

I don't think it's from stress, because I've started each new cycle brimming with positivity. What would make my cycles go so crazy?!

It feels like AF is coming on again, and it's just a weepy sad day for me. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I would love to know why this happens. It seems like ttc almost garuantees the unexpected cycle issues which is so frustrating! There must be some science behind it even if it does come back to mind over body on some level.

Gah how frustrating!! Are you going to see a doctor? There are so many reasons that could be affecting it though. Good luck, I hope it regulates itself
