Dark lines early on?

Does anyone know anything about getting a dark line on a pregnancy test early on, being a chance of multiples? I couldn't really find any good info on the net, so I thought I'd ask you lovely ladies? As far as I know I dont have good chances of twins its not in our family that I know of, but my line was as dark as the control line at 11 dpo. And YES Im positive of the day I O'd. I thought I had a big Implantation dip at only 9 dpo, and if in fact it was, that is pretty early to get that dark of a line! So maybe i implanted earlier though, that might make sense with the dark line. Idk, I'd love twins though ( i think!! hehe) so just wanted to find out if anyone knows anything on this subject? Also, with my first pregnancy, my line was as dark as the control line too, but not until a few days AFTER my missed period... and yesterday at 11 dpo it was that dark, 5 days before my period!!

Congrats on your pregnancy!!! You may have just implanted earlier... really hard to tell. May want to have you blood levels tested and if they are higher than average than maybe twins...

Hi. I got my bfp 6 days before af due and tested every day until then. About 3 days before af due my test line was darker than control line!

I have been a bit concerned that's it's twins. I have identical twin boys and although they don't run in families (like fraternal twins) it means I have an even rarer chance of having twins than before! But I keep thinking what if my boys aren't identical (sometimes the placentas fuse in the womb making it look like an identical pregnancy) and if that was so I would have a 1 in 5 chance of conceiving twins again!

I have read some info before saying that if you're carrying a girl then your hcg levels would also be higher earlier as there is more a certain hormone but I'm not sure how much evidence has been found to back that up.

I got my BFP at 12DPO and my line was fairly dark but not as dark as yours. My HCG levels are quite high for how far along I am but Im only having one bubba...perhaps you just produce a lot of HCG?

according to my scan i got a very dark bfp on tescos test at just 9dpo! Theres only one baby though. X
