Dating someone new

When is an appropriate time to tell my ex? I've been dating the new guy for about a month now, and he hasn't met my kiddo yet.

I didn't really tell FOB I was seeing someone (I didn't have to, Lucas did ), but I introduced them shortly after he met Lucas. I didn't see a need to before then.
FOB told me last week that he's been seeing someone for the past few months. I appreciated him telling me, however I'm almost certain they're living together so it seems a little late Lucas hasn't met her yet though and neither have I.

I started dating a guy straight away when I spilt from my ex.

FOB found out after about 2 months, and shortly after that he met Ava.

I don't think there is a 'right' time- it's always going to be difficult x

I told FOB just before I planned on introducing Maria to my new OH, so that he could have a chance to meet him first if he wanted to.
