what I don't get is why not pump the milk? this is so disgusting for a daughter and father to do and where is the scientific proof that this will help him? wow is all I can say this is out there. I am sorry but my dad would be closer to death because I could not do this.

I think most of us would, but if there is the option to express it rather than feed him directly from your breast.. you wouldn't opt for that?

I've read about this before. ~Apparently she DID used to pump it, but with having kids, she couldnt find the time

I think it said something about his illness, or its symptoms, got better when he drank it.
I cant say I DONT believe it, because some studies a few months ago showed cancer cells receeding when breastmilk was put on them (Im sure it was a little more complicated than that though )
But yeah, there is no way I would let my dad do that to me, but I think its fine if she pumped it. I would encourage him to buy it from a milk bank though!

I could pump for my dad, or any family member if they thought it would help them live longer. But straight from the breast seems too far. She describes being knackered and not having expressed on the first day her dad fed directly from her. I think I'd just sit back and pump.
