Day 2 Blood Results - help please

Hi there, I received my results from my Day 2/3 blood tests but my appointment with the ASU is not until Thursday 4th March.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on them. I am nearly 39. I have been pregnant 3 times. 1st pregnancy was m/c, had a beautiful baby girl who died from a genetic condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy when she was 12 months old, last april I had my 2nd m/c and have been unable to get pregnant since. We have been referred to Guys Hospital for IVF with PGD (Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis) and our first appointment is on Thursday. They did however send me for day 2 blood tests at my GP's and I have picked up the results.

LH 4
FSH 5.4
Estradiol 95

I think the last figure is bad

Could anyone give me any thoughts on the blood results?

sorry i can't really help much, but know that the LH and FSH sound fine, i'm not sure what the oestrogen is supposed to be mine was 141 on day 1

Hi Butterfly

They all look absolutley fine, I have noted the range for oestrogen below and as yours was taken D2/3 you fall into the follicular stage and as you can see your level is practically spot on in the middle of that range.
Oestrogen (estradiol)

Follicular phase 50 – 145 pg/ml
Mid-cycle peak 112 – 443 pg/ml
Luteal phase 50 – 241 pg/ml

Oestrogen fluctuates throughout the cycle and only continues to rise if you become pregnant.

oooh thats interesting to know.

I went for my early cycle bloods yesterday but wasnt really sure what they were looking for. They couldnt get a vein in the end so asked me to come back next cycle as I as already on cd4. Oh well. Another month!
