Hey ladies, I am hoping that posting on here will lead to some good answers!
I have to go for day21 tests tomorrow. Long story, but it is mainly related to my really heavy periods. I had a MMC in March- but as I haven't had 3 MC, it is not an investigation for that... it is really to check whether or not I am ovulating. The doctor says that if I am not, then it may be leading to my really heavy periods.
I know I am ovulating- every month on about day 16/17. My cycles are always 28 days long.
Now, am I being thick, or will progesterone levels on Day21 tests be low, if I ovulate on day 16/17? Would they be able to diagnose a luteal phase defect from these tests?
I should also add that I couldn't make day21 (Friday), so they have just booked me in for Thursday! (day 20)... only 3-4 days past ovulation
I am also being sent for an ultrasound to rule out an fibroid issues.
(please ignore my ticker... I forgot to update it recently!!! ooopppsss!!)
Any advice appreciated. Thanks x
