So I think LeeAnne has her days and nights all mixed up! She sleeps like a ROCK during the day, its impossible to wake her up but at night she fights sleep soooo bad! She will be up every 3-4 hours to eat which is great BUT she refuses to go down and sleep after eating! I have to hold her for a good hour to hour and a half! It is sooo frustrating because I just wish she would sleep like she does during the day at night!! Hopefully she will sort it all out eventually!!

Poppy was exactly the same. It will get better, I promise :) xx

Halle was the same till about two weeks ago. I made sure I kept the lighting low and tried not to talk to her too much at night, and in the day time I wouldn't tip toe around her if she was sleeping.... pretty soon she realised it was boring at night and got more attention in the day xx

:hugs: i think most babies are like this when they're new born honey. i found trying to tell maddi the difference between night and day worked really well - every morning i washed and dress her, the lights were on, we weren't quite when she slept, and at night, i bathed her and got her dressed for bed, and lights were low and we whispered. she soon knew :)

haha I think I got lucky because Jasmine always slept well at night.

Make sure that daytime is nice and bright and loud, and night is quiet and very low key. Its hard to stimulate a baby so young, but in a couple weeks it will be alot easier to do things to keep her awake more.

it will improve - amelia is just starting to get the hang of it now - and she is 7 weeks! We do still have the odd bad day/night, though! xx

PS LeeAnne is absoloutely gorgeous - makes me realise how much Amelai has grown already.....honestly hunnie, try not to worry, just enjoy her - she will get there xx
