What it says really, has anyone been? Is it worth it?

ETA: we were looking at the events in the south west, dean valley railway specifically, if that makes a difference!

We went a couple of years ago. Harvey loved it. Once you pay your entry fee everything is included so you don't need to fork out for rides, face painting, etc inside. The one we went to had a few rides, puppet show and a cinema tent at one side then Percy the engine took us to another station where there were more rides and a magic show. Kids also got to help the Fat Controller and a driver fill the engine with water and there were a couple of engine characters to look inside.

A must for any Thomas fan, we found it relatively reasonable in terms of cost when you compare it to some days out! They do get busy though and of course it's better if the weather is good which can always be hit and miss!

A friend wwnt rhe other day and her kids really enjoyed it.
We are planing to go next month.

Not many posts, but great that everyone who has gone has loved it. We're going to one on the 5th October, so am hoping LO likes it.

Also, for any Thomas fans who don't already know, the new Thomas movie is out for just a week at Vue cinemas from this Friday. Am taking LO, who is two and a half. It will be his first cinema trip, so I have no idea how that will go, but he is a huge Thomas fan, so fingers crossed he will love it.

Thanks all, we went on Sunday and it was really good, until LO got scared by Thomas whistling really loudly, started to cry and then wouldn't go back near a train again! I'd go again, but would think about ear defenders if LO still doesn't like loud noises!
