DD has suspected chickenpox should I be worried?

Hi ladies. My nearly three year old csme out with red itchy spots which we are pretty sure are chickenpox. I am four weeks pregnant. Pretty sure ive had CP but sadly both my parents deceased so I cant check. What shoukd I do? Nhs website says provided you've had it before not a huge risk but of course im worried. What would you guys do?

I would speak to your doctor asap to put your mind at ease, try not to worry in the meantime.

Thanks vanilla. I called my GP surgery and spoke to nurse. Thet said not to worry as likely had it before and rsk of conplications very tiny. Plus, not much that can be done about it! Just told to see GP if I get a rash...

I'd just try to take as many precautions as possible. I've caught it twice, so being exposed once doesn't guarantee immunity unfortunately. Hopefully you are immune though!
