AFM, I may order a new BBT thermometer. My temperatures have been so rocky! The thermometer I have is 2 years old, so maybe its time has come. I don't know what the expected lifespan is on them! I might just try temping vaginally. What do you ladies think?

I don't think it's sunk in yet, maybe once I've had a darker positive and my period is officially late I'll believe it:haha:
 
It was tough for me to believe my bfp until AF was late! Totally understandable.
 
Vicky I understand! My daughter I started seeing a positive a week before my period was due. Even after 3 days late I didn't believe it lol!
 
I’m the same way. Super in disbelief! My acupuncturist had me get blood drawn yesterday and I’m going again on Friday.

Dill, for sure temp vaginally if you can swing it. It gives much more reliable temps. Don't have to worry about sleeping with your mouth open.
 
Dill, I temp vaginally and it's much more reliable for me. I just avoid the heavy af days and start once it tails off
 
I’m so irritable today and so tired. I also had a very vivid dream last night, I could have sworn it was real. I may try testing in the morning.. idk I really want to hold out. But knowing that this time around when I was pregnant with my daughter I already knew has me impatient lol.
 
I'm on cd 13, ovulating winthin the next few days I would imagin, I'll be testing around 15th dec
 
Happycupcake, my temperature really shot up the morning after my flu shot last month. It was preO and it rose so high that I had to mark the temp as fever. It only affected my temp on one day though. Your shot on Friday shouldn't mess your chart up too much!

I'll start giving that a try, then. I do have a habit of sleeping with my mouth open (I'm a drooler, what can I say?) and it seems to have gotten worse as the weather's gotten colder and my sinuses have become stuffier.

So, er, how far do I have to put it in? :haha:

AF is due December 25 if you could please put me down to test that day!!! ( let’s be honest , I’ll test before then haha) Hope everyone is doing well!
I do have a question- anyone here use Pre-seed? And if so, did you actually use the injecting devices it came with? Or just used it as normal lube?
 
Lukbaby I used Concieve plus (just another brand of pre-sees) but I just applied with fingers internally and on DH. gL! Hope you get your Christmas miracle
 
TB- I'm 8dpo (I think, according to my period tracker) and my next period is due Monday. I just got off the mirena. I had periods the whole time I was on it. My first period after mirena removal was Nov 9th. My cycles are anywhere from 25-28days. So who knows.. I've had some people take a while to get pregnant after removal and then others got pregnant right away

I also had periods every month, but if you use Fertility Friend, you should know that their support told me to remove the Mirena cycles from my statistics tracking because they're not "valid" cycles and they can throw off your data. I've found that my cycle has definitely changed pretty wildly from when I had it in.

As for how long it takes, well, it even varies from person to person. I've had pregnancies with them in (multiple, across two different Mirenas), including in the past year, and yet now that I'm TTC #2, here I am on cycle 4. Some women get pregnant right away, others can take a few months for their bodies to re-regulate.

FX that your transition to being Mirena-free is any easy one! :)
 
Hey everyone—just creepin :D I’m not as active as I was last month because I got way too obsessed. This is my first month temping. My temps have been high since O until a .4 degree dip today (8DPO) it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow... trying not to get my hopes up but cautiously optimistic.

Dill - my BBT is 3.5 years old and I'm thinking to change it as well as it's giving me the lowest temps this cycle (started the same time/day the weather got cold :shrug:). I will ask DH to check if it only needs a new battery or need to change the whole thing. But I might finish this cycle before changing it. Don't want to mess with my cycle more. I will stick to mouth temping though. Not sure I can do daily vaginal temping. :blush:

Cupcake - Happy 3dpo.. I'm just a day ahead if i really did O still feeling it's anov until I see 98ish temp.
