+++ December 2019 testing thread +++

Congrats to all the BFP's, Santa's wonderful gifts.. I am 11 dpo, scared to test just waiting for AF. Had super crazy dream 8&9 dpo. Have some slight cramping through out the day and seem more fatigued than normal, had clear mucus yesterday but dry today. So I'm assuming I'm out once again :( but I know it will happen soon just have to wait for the hubby's surgery in January

I believe I’m 8 or 9 dpo today and got a negative this morning. Nausea has kicked up today and I’m still bloated with tender boobs. Trying to wait until Friday to test again. One app says Thursday for AF and the other says Sunday. I honestly just want to hurl

AFM I had spotting this evening. Was reddish brown and light but it is accompanied by some consistent dullish but sharp pains. It was also mixed with cm which was odd. Either way, spotting is never a good sign for me. :-/

FRER was a lot lighter this morning :sad2: I'm really hoping my pee wasn't as diluted but I'm worried this is going to be a chemical. Going to hold my pee as long as I can and test again. Testing at 4.30am after a night of restless sleep because of illness probably wasn't the best idea!

Could just be the test sensitivity salamander. Try to not worry too much (I know easier said than done) and give it some time. In the meantime, do something nice for yourself - like go on a walk or go get a decaf coffee or chai tea or hot cocoa, read a book, light a candle, buy yourself some flowers. Anything that makes you feel at peace, really. That's the best thing you can do for your little bean right now.

I took another frer with a 3 hour hold and it was just as faint but a cheapie was darker than yesterday so I'm not really sure what's going on to be honest. I'll just have to see what happens over the next few days I guess.

Congrats to anyone I’ve missed! Pretty sure I’ll be the last one in here :( temp dropped again this morning so maybe I’m ovulating today haven’t done opks this cycle wish I had now :haha:

So sorry hun xx

Congrats to all of those with BFP, I wish you all a healthy pregnancy.

Sorry for those whose AF's have showed up.

I just got my results for the bloodtest and it was negative. We haven't closed off the option of doing IVF again, but first we will be looking into adoption. Just first need to get over losing this embryo as it was perfect quality and it is so rare for them not to survive the thawing that it's just come as a shock.

I wish good luck for those still waiting for their results.

Has anyone had weird BBT results? I've been tracking my BBT and I see no indication that ovulation has passed, no spike in temperature after ovulation. There has been a slight dip a couple times but no spike after. I had EWCM Thursday and Friday last week and now it's gone. But my BBT doesn't correlate with the temperature.

I tracked BBT when conceiving my other children so I know how it's done and it worked well for me then. I'm hoping it's due to using an old thermometer and it's not reading my temp properly. But I'm also dealing with a PH/Bacterial imbalance down there so perhaps it's messed with my cycles and made them shorter. Should have results back from doctor's today or tomorrow. I'm also thinking my husband's sperm is the culprit as I got a yeast infection when conceiving my daughter, 6 years ago and not one since. Anyone else sensitive to sperm?

So sorry lunabelle... adoption is such a lovely thing to do my hubby’s adopted.

Joanna when my temps were off I changed my monitor. You temping same time every day?

ASFM I had a further dip so maybe I’m ovulating today

Sorry to hear that things are turning for some of you. I’m holding out hope for you.

I had a good line on FRER this morning so I took a shot and took a digital. I was shocked it didn’t even go through all the blinking lines on the bottom and came out in about 1 minute as pregnant! I’m so excited but still in disbelief. AF due Sunday so it is still early, but I have a much better feeling than with the past few months and my chemical.

Congrats :-) That's great to have a good result like that days early - could be twins!?

Congrats MrsP!

Yes I'm temping around the same time each morning (within a half hour). I temp before I get up, sit up and as soon as I wake up. I think when AF shows i'll purchase a new thermometer. Not feeling super positive about conceiving this month given the circumstances but that might help the disappointment too.

I'm sorry Lunabelle. My second FET transfer didn't take (I've had three total and all were losses in the end). Still totally and completely felt like a full-fledged loss. That little embryo was a person after all. We've been taking a break from the scientific way of TTC so do what you need to do. It sucks that it's so hard.
