Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? I have an appt today at OBGYN because I am bleeding like I have my period. I'm about 4 weeks 5 days. Trying to keep positive and this is one thing I found that may be a normal, harmless phenomena.

Hi hun, just wondering if u found anything out? Is it around the time your period should be starting??

I am having some light bleeding today after brown discharge last week. I have an appt tomorrow and can get a scan but until then it is a waiting game. I was advised to go to the er if the bleeding got worse like a period. Doc sadi there is no way to tell for sure without a scan, they were much less concerend last week when it was just the brown discharge.

I wish I had more insight for you. My cousin bleed and bleed and her baby was fine so it can be totally normal it is just so hard not knowing and having to wait.

Fx'd for you....

I also bled this pregnancy. Horribly. WORSE than a period, it would've dripped down my leg if I let it and I had clots. But u/s showed healthy baby with a hb!! So don't worry quite yet!! :hugs:

Hi, thanks for asking. Right now I am waiting for my bloodwork results and then we are going from there. My period is about a week late, so I mean I guess it would be considered around the time of my period.

I am 7 weeks 3 days right now and I've been bleeding since 6 weeks. I was so nervous because it was kind of heavy like a period, I had a few clots, and it lasted a good while. One day it would be heavy and one day there would hardly be anything. I'm still bleeding right now but I went to the doctor today for a follow up for the bleeding and we got to see a fetus with a heartbeat! Makes me feel so much better.

My doctor said it was a subchorionic hematoma. Not sure how to explain it really. I could see it on the ultrasound. She said that it doesn't affect the baby. I read that it accounts for 20% of bleeding cases in the first trimester!

Good Luck and hope everything is okay!

So, looks like I had a miscarriage. Guess its back to TTC. :(

Thanks for the support girls. I guess it was just not meant to be this time. We are planning on TTC right away, as the nurse/doctor didn't say otherwise. Sprinkle some dust for me!! :dust:
