Definite TMI but worth asking, tissue poking out down there.

Right, I've been uhming and ahhing about whether to post this as it A. freaks me out and B. I don't want to find out anything bad. Daft yes. Also not been to doctors about it, for same reasons plus my doctors are a bit weird with appointments and it's not something I can have checked with both boys in the room.

I've pink tissue sticking out of my vagina. It's a slightly lighter pink than the rest, and it painless, but the gouch area is really, really sore, like I've had a carpet burn there. I had a forceps delivery, well, forceps to turn him then pushed him out, but yeah... anyone else? Or anyone know what it could be? Worth going the doctors or... just one of those things?

Is it alot of tissue?? Or just like a tiny bit. If its alot it could be a prolapse do you notice it more when you stand up or go for a poo?? The other thing I can think of is it could be the way you were stitched up (if you had stitches) cos mine are a bit uneven and I've got a bit of this but it isn't really noticeable. Think you probably do need to go to the docs and one of the staff may watch the boys when you get examined??

Glad you posted this! I have the same thing and had a forceps delivery. I thought maybe it was excess scar tissue or something? I have a hospital appointment to get my episiotomy checked in February so was gonna mention it to the doctor then.

that sounds like prolapse, lots of women get it but its definitely a go to the doctor as soon as you can situation x
