*insert evil laugh here*!!!

Good for you girl! My OH did the same thing. We first talked about having a baby back at Christmas 2010. We were both all for it. Then all the sudden he changed his mind and wanted me to wait till stuff settled out with my job and he said he didn't want to ruin my life and my dreams. And I told him my dreams were to settle down, start a family with him, and go back to school and get my degree in what I really want to do. He still persisted with waiting until things got settled. Well, I protested but eventually agreed. The problem is, things won't be settled at my job until December this year and then, of course, things at his job are Gunna get switched up =( lately though, we've both been having baby cravings (his sister just had a baby and his two boys are about to finish High School), and so viola, now we're TTC! I do wish though that I put my foot down like you pinksprinkles and kept TTC on my end! Maybe I'd be pregnant by now or at least having a higher chance since it'd be a year. Ah well, now is a good of a time as ever!

Good luck and baby dust!!!! =D

Men are silly creatures aren't they! They're always waiting for the "perfect time" for everything! Sometimes I wonder how they get anything done. Then again, it often seems like it's the perfect time for anything and everything Except babies. :haha:

But seriously, I don't think I would have put my foot down if it wasn't for the fact that, deep down, I think he would actually be thrilled with a little one right now. He gets so bogged down in the logistics of things sometimes that he forgets to have fun. And if I'm wrong about that, at least he got fair warning!!!

I'm glad to hear you're back to TTC again! Are you charting, doing OPK's, etc? Or are you two being more relaxed about it? (I have such fun with the charting!)

This sounds very familiar! I know my husband will be happy with a little one, but he's so nervous about this and that and that and this... he gets so bogged down in the details (and, I think, a fear of failing as a dad) that he can't bring himself to be excited. He thinks were NTNP, but we're TTC. I am, at least!!

Good for you for putting your foot down and fighting for what you want. If my husband tried to say we should wait, I would do exactly the same thing.

If it depended on our men, it would never be the right time!

Omg! Glad I am not the only one dealing with an OH who can't make up his mind because of nerves lol

The first time we didn't get to actually BD as TTC =( we only got to talk about it and right when I was about to come off my BCP he changed his mind... And he's still a little crazy about it so we're taking the more relaxed approach for now. I'm just using this little app thing that let's me enter in my moods, symptoms, and periods and it calculates my cycle length and when I'm supposed to ovulate. It also let's me add in when we BD so I can keep track of that too! It's a really cool little app. Then we're also using PreSeed every time we BD. Hopefully that helps. Maybe next month I'll start charting and temping and stuff. Though I have no clue how that works or where to begin!

Good luck and baby dust to us all! (and hopefully a calm OH too! Haha)
