OOPS.. I was jsut eating toffee and my temp filling has come out.

I havent been intouch with my dentist while Ive been pregnant, she wanted me to fork out £180 for a crown just before I got pregnant and I refused as I couldnt afford it. I am now claiming ESA and I'm exempt from paying dental costs. I thought we were in pregnancy anyway but my MW told me not anymore!

So I'm going to be having a Section under General Anesthetic and the aneasthetist asked if I had any crowns, as I didnt at the time I said no of course. Should I wait until after pregnancy to have my crown fitted and have a temp for now?? I know I will need x-rays (which I obviously dont want because of the risk to baby) and also if the anesthetist asked about them then they're obviously a hazard when they intubate (put the breathing tube down the throat)

I didn't want to R&R but I'm in dyer need for fillings as I have 3 small cavities in the back of my mouth, I'm so paranoid about dentistry while pregnant, I'm just cleaning my teeth as best I can for now, until after my son is born then going to the dentist. If you would like to get it fixed, I would just talk to your MW about everything! :)

We are exempt from normal check up costs but think you have to pay for any work still :(

If this is up to date then it looks like we still get free treatment. At least that's one thing they haven't taken away!
