So my childs father took me to court to try and get custody of our baby and the judge gave me custody and gave him visitation and the judge ordered that we both cant have overnight romantic stays with our child present, my qeustion is if i have a boyfriend and im ready to move in with him do i have to get married before we can move in together or can we get engaged and move in together??

I think you should double check with your judge doll. I'd hate to give you the wrong advice and get you in trouble.

Sorry to be a pain, but can i ask why he ordered that? As it seems very unreasonable of the judge to me??
I mean, i dont mean inviting someone to live with you and your son after like a week of meeting them? And for your ex to have a different girl over each time when LO is over with him, that would be silly... I dont no if im explaining myself very well? lol
What im trying to say, as surely it is your decision as to who you invote to stay at your home? My friend has her BF stay over, she has been with him for about 5 months now, but her LO never see's him. He comes when LO is in bed, and has left for work by the time LO is up in the morning.

That particular order would include co-habitation. Yes, you'll need to get married first or go back to court to try and have that rescinded.
At least that's how it is with my bonus daughters bio-mom because she has a history of short shack-ups and DH asked the judge to shield LO from that lifestyle.
And on that note: I am in no way suggesting that you live an inappropriate lifestyle. Just sharing personal experience. Oh and we're in the states. : )

i wish mine said that! i just had issues with my sons dad and his girlfriend of a month meeting my son. But as for your situation go back to court becasue it can end badly for you if you go against a judges orders
