I wasnt sure where to post this so Ill try here..
My 18 month old daughter has to see an endochrinologist because my Dr thinks she has this disorder. I googled it and have a basic understanding of what it is. Is there anyone who has a child with this or has it themselves who can give me more of the personal experience?

Its not diabetes. It sounds like the kidneys dont hang on to much water for the body to use, so she drinks alot and pees like crazy, and yet can become dehydrated easier than other people.
I change her every hour to avoid soaking her pants/blankets/carseat. That was what prompted the urinalysis and blood work. Dr was looking for diabetes.

Sorry honey no experience. Let us know how you get on with the specialist xxx

I don't have any experience, but wanted to share this link (which you probably found already) - https://www.pituitary.org.uk/ It's not just about diabetes insipidus, but it DI does fall under the branch of pituitary disorders. They have a (small) forum, but they also have support services, which you might find helpful.

:hugs:
