Ok, though that I would try and post this here to see if I can get any info to back up my arguments with the Drs.
So I know I'm a little early in the day to be thinking of all this, but I feel that I would really like to try a water birth and feel as though I may want to get the battle with my medical team started early.
I'm classed as high risk because I'm a type 1 diabetic, but am on an insulin pump which CAN be submerged in water, I get the feeling I will ordered to take every medical intervention going, including induction etc but I would really like to at least try the water as it does seem to help when I've had a bad day at work, have any kind of ache or cramp etc plus given their 'involved' approach, I think I would enjoy the physical barrier of the bath/pool for a little while at least.
Does anyone have any success stories to prove it can be done or am I barking up a pointless tree here?
Thanks for any advice!
