Diagnostic laproscopic surgery to check for endometriosis

Ladies that have had this procedure(see title). How long did you bleed? What was the consistency of the Blood? I had the procedure on Oct 3(Monday) and I'm still spotting only when wiping today Oct 7th(Friday). Monday and Tuesday it was pure blood and red in color but since Wednesday it's been blood mixed with clear mucus and light pink. I've heard it can be anywhere from 2 days to a week. I'm due to start reg AF about Oct 18th and have a post op follow up Oct 19th with my OBGYN who did my surgery. I'm also worried I might be bleeding that long too
How will I know when my regular AF is gonna a hit? I don't know what to expect. Any help ladies will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Angel, I had a laparoscopy and hysterscopy a month ago. I didn't really bleed at all. I spotted just a tiny bit the day of surgery and that was it. On day 2 of AF for the first time post op.

What did they do for the endo? Did they do anything else? I also had a polyp removed from within my uterus, which is what I expect the bleeding was from. Endo would be outside the uterus, so I wouldn't expect there to be bleeding from that...

Yes it was for endometriosis. I bled about a day to day and a half then it turned to spotting for about 4 days. They did shoot this dye in my tubes to see if they were open.

Did they tell you anything after the operation? I see you had the die test (checking if the tubs are blocked) did they till you if they are clear? Have they told you if they found Endo at all? Or is that what you are hopping to discuss in your post op on the 19th? I did find that the lap made my AF irregular so don't stress about that coming back bang on Tuesday.

The Dr told my DH I had some endometriosis. I was not told a thing by my Dr at all. DH was told tubes are clear. I'm gonna ask a lot of questions wed.

The fact that your tubes are clear is a good sign With Endo your chances of conceiving in the 6 months after a lap to remove the adhesion's is greatly increased So I will keep my fingers crossed we will both have good news early in 2017!!

Hopeful I like those statistics...I was going to give up in Dec...4 months after my endo was cleared out. I guess I'll give it until Feb!

I have been to see my consultant today for the post-op check up and asked about time line and he said he will see me in another 4 months to be safe but he said he isn't worried till the 12 month (after surgery) mark. I was a little worried as I still haven't had my period (9 weeks after surgery) but he said that can take months to come back! AAHH didn't ever think I would be wishing for a period!!
