Diarrhea before labor? Anyone experience this?

Anyone experience this before with past children or maybe now with your current pg? All day yesterday I had loose stools and today it's diarrhea. I dont think I ate anything bad but you never know. If this is the clear out before labor how long does it usually take for labor to start? If you have experienced this before how long between the clear out and labor? Dont want to get my hopes up but it's soooooo hard not too. I am so freaking tired of being pregnant!

I've heard a lot of people say they've had loose stools before labour has started so it could be

I have heard that the body can do this in preparation for labor but have never experienced it myself.

I did, but probably the night before I went into labour, just loose and the one time for me. But it can vary xx

(sorry general tmi post lol) Yes, the night of my first labour I had a really upset stomach shortly before contractions started. However, I've had fairly loose stools on and off for the last couple of weeks and no sign of baby yet so I guess it varies!

Yes with both my boys, two full days prior. So no pooping for me when I was pushing cause I had none left lol!

Yep, had awful diarreah just as my contractions started...I was too scared to eat afterwards so ignored the advice about eating like youre gonna run a marathon!

I didn't have diarrhea but had a lot more bowel movements than previous days. I actually thought my contractions were constipation or something! That night I realised they weren't poo pains but regular contractions. The pains were all in my bum though and stayed that way until my EMCS.

I did, but for me it was a good 2-3 days before I went into labour.

My contractions started and I had a need to go to the toilet very soon after. Completely emptied my bowels during first half hour of contractions. My constipation has gone the last couple of days, hoping this is also a good sign. Fed up of pregnancy!

I had this several times on and off in the weeks leading up to labor with my son. Then, I also had some diarrhea during labor. I was hooked up to monitors and stuff in the hospital bed and they would have to come unplug me several times so I could go to the bathroom. Didn't poop during labor though, woo!
