Did I miss my surge??!!

Hi everyone I'm pretty new here,this is my first month charting and using opks. So for the last 7 days I have been testing at noon and EVERY SINGLE DAY my line got NOTICABLY darker and darker. Yesterday it was soo close to positive I just knew that today at noon my line would be POSITIVELY dark. Well..NO it's lighter than it has been in the last FOUR days! Iv'e also had dull abdomal aches and twinges down there for the last four days,yesterday being the worst,today nothing. Also Iv'e had watery cm all four days including today,CD15. So my question is DID I MISS IT?? Should I have been testing 2 or 3 times a day? Am I just being impatient? Please,any input would be so appreciated

sometimes it's best to test opk twice a day to make sure you don't miss the surge. do you temp? how was your cm when your opk was getting darker?
