Hi everyone! My first time posting in this section. I'm Danielle, I know a lot of you and some I don't. I've been a part of BNB for a year now, but have not really been posting for the past 4 months. Here is my story.....

I'm 29, DH will be 30 next month. We have been trying since May 2008. In October 2008 I had cycle bloodwork done which was normal and my DH had an SA. My bloodwork came back normal, but DH's SA was abnormal. Count good, motility good, but morphology not sooo good. The doctor told us we could get pregnant on our own, but it may take a while. He did say we are perfect candidates for IUI. We proceeded to try on our own for the next several months, but decided to see a doctor in June 2009. This doctor also said we were perfect candidates for IUI. A couple days later I had an HSG done, and it was awful. So painful, but everything was clear. I ovulated a week later, hoping for the best, but AF showed her face 2 days late...ofcourse. On day 4 of my cycle I started Clomid and on day 12 I did the trigger shot. Yesterday day 14 I had IUI done. It was quick and painless, but afterwards I had a lot of cramping. I've had little twinges on and off today. This has been such an emotional rollercoaster for the both of us, I hope this is it. After the IUI, the doctor told me to stay lying down for 15 minutes. After he left the room, my hubby came over to me with eyes watering and started to rub my tummy. I started crying and here we are holding each other crying in the doctor's office, telling each other I love you. It was a very special moment, and getting my BFP would be absolutely amazing. I will keep you all posted..... I just had to take a break from BNB, I was too obsessive with getting pregnant and it was very hard to keep seeing BFP's. Now that we are finally doing something about our infertility I feel less crazy and am very excited about being back on here. Good luck to everyone. :hugs: Danielle

do you have regular cycles hun? just wondering cos i took clomid for 9 months which regulated my cycle and today is oour iui appointment and im on cycle day 9 but i realy hope they do it this cycle and not wait till i get my period.

Thank you so much to everyone.....this is the hardest 2ww ever!! Hayley- I actually have very regular cycles. Day 14 +opk....day 28 AF. Clockwork. So frustrating! The doctor feels my hubby's poor morphology is creating a block and not letting the good ones to get thru. He said we'll wash them and get all the good ones and place them in your uterus....no problem. Not to be cynical....but we'll see. The doctor put me on Clomid to give me the most follicles possible and the strongest. Just to help give IUI the best chance possible. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard to feel like it's finally my turn. To make this all better.. I'M A LABOR AND DELIVERY NURSE!! AHHHH!! I'm around preggos all the time!! Sharing in their miracles.....salt in wound. I do love my job, it has just been a little hard lately. Good luck with your IUI !!!! I'll keep you posted :winkwink:

I am starting nursing in the fall and I want to be in labour and delivery or with the babies once they are born! Hopefully we'll have had a kid by then so it won't hurt so bad!

Anyone in the 2ww going crazy? I was so positive after the IUI....now I'm so cynical
