did you have symptoms that af was about to start?

The past few days ive been getting mild period type cramps..
Today ive had extremely sore breasts and feeling mildly nauseous..
Ive not had a period since having my lo who is 6 months now..
Did anybody have these symptoms just before their period returned?
I didnt get my period back with my 1st until he was around 10/11 months and really cant remember if i had warning signs or not..
Id just like to be prepared!

The biggest sign for me was really sore nips out of the blue. Must have been ovulation cos bang 2 weeks later AF. This was 5 months in.
