Hey girls. I'm from a very fertile family - as soon as any gals come off the pill, they fall preggers! Including my nans and mum who told me last week that it took her ages to conceive my little bro - 2 whole months!

Anyway, the thing they ALL say is that they just KNEW when they fell pregnant, like only a few days after conceiving, they just knew. I only started TTC last week with AF due end of next week but something in me tells me I'm NOT pregnant which is annoying.

Did you just know? Regardless of symptoms - intuitively, you just knew?

And anyone who fell PG and didn't have that feeling?! And didn't have any symptoms?

Friday thoughts appreciated. x

I had absolutely no idea.

All of my family have had fertility problems and I was convinced that I would never have kids. It sounds daft.

Id been off the pill for about 16 months and Id been to the docs a couple of weeks earler because I was stressed and wasnt having periods... he told me to do a test as a precaution but he didnt think I was.

So I did it, it was negative. Then a couple of weeks later I told my boyfriend my boobs were hurting as if I was about to come on and he said to me 'you might be pregnant' and I was like 'No way, its impossible'. But the next morning it was playing on my mind and I used the other test that was in the last pack and it was a positive! Turns out the previous test Id done was a false negative.

So no, I had no idea and was in complete shock. So you never know!

I didnt know.

The months before I thought i knew..but I was wrong.
Just goes to show.

my first sign was actually feeling faint one night while watching TV. I did wonder if that could be a sign but assumed not.

Thanks to you both for replying. It's such an exciting and kinda stressful time and all these thoughts are going through my head, so good to share it with other gals! x

Well just remember everyones different and it might not happen straight away, so dont get disappointed if it doesnt but keep trying! And Ive got my fingers crossed for you!

I've always had a feeling when i've been in the very early stages of pregnancy that i am, & have always been right, lol. I don't know how or what it is, but i've always known. :)

I had no idea what so ever! The only thing that gave it away for me was the fact that my period was 2 weeks overdue. Oh and I took two HPT because we didn't believe the first one lol So yeah no intuition over here.

I knew about 3 days after I conceived, my gut knew, but my brain kept doubting it.

I actually knew as well although I kept telling myself that I was just imagining things (didn't want to get my hopes up to high and be wrong!)

I didn't know & just did a test to stop myself worrying. As soon as the test turned positive though I had an odd feeling that it was going to be ok - like it was a healthy pregnancy.

I had an inkling that I might be. I was a few days late, started to feel tired and could feel my stomach almost stretching itself. It was almost like when you laugh sooo much that your stomach hurts, so its not really pain, but there is something there.

I just 'knew' with my first, I can't explain it, but I just knew I was pregnant........the second time round I was really wanting the pregnancy, so I think that was a bit different for me, although I did keep saying it then too

I thought I was and then I would doubt myself. It wasen't until my hubby said. "Well, your definitely pregnant" that I started to really think I was. Apparently I was acting like the wicked bitch of the east

I knew the moment it happened. I don't know what it was, but I do know that I wasn't on the pill but also wasn't trying to conceive, however, my DH didn't realise I was in my 'fertile' period! :dohh:

A week later and we were going out for drinks and I just thought- I need to take a test to make sure not pregnant. It came back negative and I thought well there's intuition for you....

Ten days later and I was late, so I decided to take the test again, and it came back VERY positive!:happydance:

It's weird - this month, about 6/7 days in, I just thought, 'this feels different.'

I tested early on day 9 and it was BFN, so I just expected AF was going to turn up that weekend.

I kept feeling 'odd' the rest of the week and decided to test on the Friday - line didn't come up, but I didn't have time to wait the full 10 minutes. The rest of the day, I started to feel weird, queasy off and on and my boobs really started to hurt (normally they ease off a few days before AF). I looked at the test again when I got home and there was a faint line there.

Tested again in the morning and BFP!:crib:

Good luck with getting your BFP!

me and my partner had been trying for nearlly 2 years and i also just felt like i new i was pregnant ive a time where i thought it b4 and wasnt but this time i took a test the next day and i was we was soo happy i took 8 tests after to make sure lmao i just kinda felt different not my usuall self it took ages to sink in after i couldnt beleive it xxx

yeh my family has never conceived easily and i was convinced there was a problem :S i had a m/c a couple of months before hand and was getting quite worried; i knew as soon as i was though i did a preg test and it came up neg but i just knew i was; from symptoms all felt familiar :)

I had no clue. I just thought I was getting my period soon, but when it was 2 days late I said ok well I'll take a test for the heck of it to see. Well I got a positive and I still denied it, LOL. Then when my period didnt come for 3 more days, I kind of figured it out by then. I still took 2 other tests and those were both positive as well. :)

I didn't think I was pregnant, since it was our first month to try, but I knew I was feeling different. Took the test the day before AF was due, and there it was, a BFP!

Thanks gals! Love this forum (sorry for the cheese, X Factor brings it out in me!). Funny, since I first wrote this post, I've started feeling very strange indeed and sensing something. Beyond the cramping and tingling in my stomach IAF due in 6 days but never get cramps this early), pinprick tingling in stomach, massive blue vein and sharp sudden pains in lady bumps - plus a weird emotional feeling ... this all started happening earlier today, over a week since my ovulation time. Hey, it could all be my imagination, this is my first month TTC after all - but my cousin said earlier that it might be cos implantation has occured, which suddenly brings on symptoms. Who knows? Well, I will know next weekend, either way.
